An elegant Farbridge Wedding Every inch of Jen & Dans wedding at Farbridge in West Sussex, was tasteful and elegant, not least due to the flowers by Angle Like Flowers, which I don't think could have been better matched to the dresses and the decor! I have such fond memories of this day, the bridesmaids had me in stitches, gin was flowing and some of the dance moves were....out there! I'd been booked to photograph G&J's wedding for several months, when G emailed to ask if I'd be able to photograph their small legal ceremony during the week at, as they were now planning on having a larger blessing at Tournerbury that weekend. After a swift change to my return flight from my summer holiday, I was there! I had a small ceremony myself, followed with a big celebration, so it brought back a lot of memories! This was just a small taster of the fun that was to follow a few days later!!!

HAMPSHIRE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY You meet at 7pm, at the quietest part of the beach on not the sunniest of days, it'll be quiet, right? Wrong. We just just a slight shock when we pulled in and the Kite Armada was taking place, the car park is shut and parts of the beach have marquees erected on them...oh. BUT it all worked out fine, with some selective angles to avoid marquees and too much windswept hair, we had a fabulous time and got them lots of beautiful photos!

TOURNERBURY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER Heather & Tim chose to do things a little differently then the 'norm' on their wedding day at Tournerbury, and it was perfection. They had a small intimate legal ceremony, with just their parents present, after both her Father and Step Father walked Heather down the aisle, and a larger Humanist ceremony with Jane Blackman as the celebrant slightly later in the day with the rest of their family and friends. I loved that as guests arrived for the second ceremony, Heather and Tim had time to themselves, knowing they were officially married, but excited to share the emotional ceremony with their loved ones. SOUTHEND BARNS WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER As a bride (or a photographer) you don't want to wake up the morning of the wedding and see that there is 45mph+ winds forecast. For me I imagine guests hiding inside, 101 touch ups to the brides hair and makeup and being seriously restricted when it comes to photographs. Starting off the day, the ladies got ready at Number Four Hotel in Southsea, which was a real treat for a photographer! With its huge windows it was full of light and the furnishings were a backdrop dream! The ceremony took place outside in the grounds of Tournerbury Woods, after Lauren took a short drive in a Vinnies Vintage Vehicles VW with her Dad over to Tournerbury from Southsea.
