Farbridge Wedding Photography
I REALLY want to be good at writing blog posts, but I’m not. but I want to be. And with Covid19 ruining all our lives, when am I every going to have more time on my hands then I do now?! So the husbands downstairs with the toddler, the two boys are playing (semi) nicely in their room, and I have a coffee, several candles and a long to-do list. HERE WE GO
I when I met Millie & her Mum to chat about about her Farbridge wedding, we chatted for AGES. 99% about non-wedding related stuff, and 1% (maybe) about the wedding. Millie messaged me within minutes of the meeting finishing saying they wanted to book me, which was a good job because I think I would have cried if they hadn’t.
The morning started tucked away in the bridal suite, where I was greeted with a LOT of excitement and a maHOOsive bouquet of wildflowers by Lady Lissy. Time flew (as it always does), and Millie was pampered like a queen by No3 Aesthetics while the girls got into their dresses and drank bubbles. The entire colour scheme of the day couldn’t have worked better with Farbridges interior. I mean, I doubt Millie had chosen her bridesmaids dresses and napkins from the colour of the bridal suite walls, BUT who knows….
Stressfreehire did their usual slick process and were in and out before anyone knew they were there (true to their name) and Imogen made sur everything was in place and working smoothly throughout the entire day as she always does!
There is a definite change I nabbed some of the cake by Bunston Cakes (perk of the job!) and can personally vouch for it’s yumminess!
Something else I have to mention is the best mans speech. Amazing. I have to admin I didn’t have high hopes when I had put him on the spot for the joke earlier in the day and got nothing in return…but he proved me wrong. It wasn’t too long, the perfect amount of cliche wedding jokes and embarrassing stories about Hamish. it makes my job easier photographing when people are ACTUALLY laughing, so thanks for that!
And just when I didn’t think the day could get any better, they had Mister Kanish. I (as always) fully fangirled. They had no idea who I am (they’ve promised this wont happen again). I had thought I was their number one fan, but seeing how full that dance floor was, and the levels of fangirling that was going on by some of the girls- I’m not sure.
Thank you Millie & Hamish- YOU WERE AMAZING!
